Mechanistic studies involving reactive
intermediates. Single Electron Transfer processes in Organic Chemistry. Ab initio molecular dynamics
techniques. Alkane activation in liquid and
solid superacids and in the gas phase.
Carbocation chemistry. Hydrocarbon chemistry. Use of theoretical methods
and isotopic labeling techniques in the investigation of reaction
mechanisms. Use of zeolites and correlated
materials for organic synthesis. Ab
